Ingredients


  • 16 oz (453g) sirloin steak, lean only, chopped
  • 2 potatoes, cubed
  • 16 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon seasoning
  • 8 Skewers
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Method


  1. Trim any visible fat off the lean only sirloin. Cut into 1 ounce (28g) (1 inch x 1 inch) cubes.
  2. Wash potatoes and cut into 1 inch x 1 inch cubes.
  3. Slice onion and cut into small pieces.
  4. Place 2 cherry tomatoes, 2 1-ounce sirloin cubes, 3 potato cubes, 3 slices of pepper, and 3 onion slices on each skewer alternating items. Do this 8 times.
  5. Place the completed skewers on the grill or baking dish. Season with Mrs. Dash seasoning.
  6. To grill: Spray the grill with non-stick cooking spray and grill until the meat is at your desired doneness and you can stick a fork through the potatoes.
  7. To bake: cook at 425°F (218°C) for 30 minutes or until done.
