Ingredients


  • 1/2 cup (113g) white sugar (or non-calorie sweetener for lower carbohydrate)
  • 1/2 cup (70g) flour
  • 1/2 cup (113ml) skim milk
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 cups (525g) of frozen peaches, no added sugar

Method


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C).
  2. Spray an 8"x8" square pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Combine the flour, milk, baking powder and salt in one bowl.
  4. In another bowl add the peaches and mix with 1/2 cup (113g) of sugar (or sweetner or stevia for lower carbohydrate version).
  5. Pour the dough mixture onto the pan first and spread it out.
  6. Next add the fruit mixed with sugar (or sweetener) righ on top of dough.
  7. The crust will bake through to the top.
  8. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes until browned to your liking.
  9. Optional topping: Fat-free vanilla ice cream (if watching carbohydrates choose the no added sugar fat-free version).
