Ingredients


  • 2 pounds (32oz) chicken breasts
  • 16 oz (453g) baby red potatoes
  • 16 oz (453g) baby carrots
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup (175g) reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1 cup (350g) honey
  • 1/4 cup (88g) ketchup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup (113ml) water

Method


  1. In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, ketchup, garlic, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, and pepper.
  2. Place chicken, potatoes, and carrots into a slow-cooker.
  3. Pour sauce mixture over the chicken, potatoes, and carrots.
  4. Add the water to the crockpot.
  5. Cover and cook on low heat for 7.5 hours or high for 3.5 hours.
