Ingredients


  • 1/2 cup egg whites (two large eggs)
  • 1/2 cup (113ml) skim milk
  • 2 slices low-fat raisin bread
  • Fat-free cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Fat-free whipped topping
  • 3 strawberries, stemmed and halved

Method


  1. Whisk the egg whites and skim milk with cinnamon in a container large enough to dip bread into.
  2. Heat non-stick skillet on medium heat.
  3. Coat with cooking spray.
  4. Dip the raisin bread into the egg mix.
  5. Add the bread to the pan, allow the eggs to stick to the bread and start to become slightly crispy.
  6. Flip the bread over and do the same to the opposite side.
  7. Place on your serving plate and top with syrup, whipped topping and the strawberries cut in half.
